Welcome to The Tales We Tell, a female-founded communications and marketing studio based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Australia.

The Tales We Tell was founded by Ruby Gardiner in 2025, at a crossroads moment in her life. On the brink of returning to her corporate role following the birth of her second child, Ruby saw a gap in the market.

It seemed everyone around her — friends, family and acquaintances — were busy running successful businesses. Yet while their skills and services varied, they shared one commonality — how do they find the time and budget for marketing?

Ruby holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New South Wales in Media and Communications, and has since worked in communications and marketing for prominent Australian brands in lifestyle and hospitality sectors.

Ruby runs The Tales We Tell from her home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where she resides with her husband, two daughters and their French bulldog.
